Dr. Christopher is an assistant professor in the department of physical therapy at Elon University. She received her PhD from the University of Newcastle in Australia in 2021, where her thesis focused on running-related pain in postpartum runners.

Dr. Christopher started treating runners twelve years ago, and since, has slowly built a caseload of predominantly endurance athletes. She has spoken at several local, regional, and national conferences concerning the treatment of triathletes and runners. She was also a featured keynote speaker at the 2019 University of Virginia’s running medicine conference, as well as the 2021 Mountain Land Running Summit. Dr. Christopher currently practices in the ElonRUNS clinic, the athletic training room, and the DPT department at the University of Elon.
